The Blue Mountain 30k is a trail race held on the trails at Blue Mountain Recreation Area. Starting and ending at the Peak Athletic Club off of Blue Mountain road, runners are treated to single track trails, spring foliage, and beautiful views of the Missoula Valley. Along the course we offer 4 well-stocked aid stations staffed by members of the Hellgate High School Cross Country Team. After the race, celebrate with a burger and a post-race grill.
Welcome to Missoula’s longest running trail race! With 2,000 feet of elevation gain in only 1.5 miles, this course is short, steep, and ends on the proud summit of Mount Sentinel. After the race, participants will receive a 2022 Hill Climb mug and a scoop of Big Dipper Ice Cream!
