Montana Association Youth Competition Opportunities
The 2024 Montana Association Cross Country Championships will be held on November 9 at Bill Roberts Golf Course (weather permitting) in Helena Montana. This is an advancement meet for Age Groups 7 - 18 to the JO National Championship on December 14 with races from 2K to 5K 19+ Will compete in age grouped Open and Masters 5k
Series Dates: Monday, September 30 – Saturday, October 5, 2024 Race Times: All Regular Starts are at 7:00 AM (MT) and optional Early Starts are at 6:00 AM (MT). Early Start available for distances of half marathon or longer. We encourage any 6+ hour participants to take advantage of the Early Starts. Pre-Race Briefing will start approximately 10 minutes before each of the two race start times.
The Big Sky State Games co-host a number of the Montana Association Open and Masters Championships: Outdoor Track and Field Racewalk 5K 10k 1/2 Marathon
The Region 11 (Utah, Snake River, Montana Associations) JO Track and Field Championship is the qualifier for the National JO Track and Field Championship
The Junior Olympic program is an opportunity for athletes 7-18 years of age to participate in a summer track and field program where they can advance to Regional and National Competition
