Road to National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships Begins Here

Start circling the dates on your calendar for the 2026 USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships.  This year the National Championships moves to the west coast in Norwalk, Californa to be held on Falcon Stadium of Cerritos College. Cerritos Falcum Stadium is a vibrant sports venue known for its welcoming atmosphere and community spirt. Set for July 27- August 2, 2026, it has been the site for the U.S. National Track & Field Championships and a frequent host to the California State High School Track & Field Championships.

In its second season, USA Track & Field has expanded new relay events with the addition of the Mixed Gender Relays in the 4x100, 4x400 and 4x800 for the 15-16 and 17-18 age divisions.  Qualifying for the national championships consists of three levels: Association, Regional and National.  Eligible participants must be 18 years old and younger, and a current USATF member.  The age divisions for athletes to participate consist of six, two-year increments.

USATF Montana Association Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships

The event will be hosted by the Butte Track Club.  All participants in the Montana Association Junior Olympic Championships meet automatically qualify to advance to the Region 11 Junior Olympic championships.

USATF Region 11 consists of athletes from Snake River (Southern Idaho), Montana, Utah and Wyoming. The track meet will be held in Pocatello, Idaho on July 9-11, 2026 at the Davis Field of Idaho State University.
